Cycling Hat
No period and low sex drive?
Since December I have not had a period and my sex drive dropped like 90%. I can’t get lubricated anymore and it’s killing my husband thinking he is the problem ( I assure him he’s not). I’m 18 and have always had very heavy periods sometimes twice a month. I am thinking it s the loss of my cycle hat is making me lose my sex drive, but I don’t know how to get it back. I have been to the doctor, but it’s super annoying when I can only get in to see once every 2 months and we only explore 1 possibility ever visit. I have had an ultrasound to check for cysts, but no one ever told me the results so I’m assuming it’s fine. Anyone else have this problem? What could it be?
Depression is usually a huge cause of low libido.
Also, I notice when I am stressed my periods don’t come.
Are you eating healthy, and are you in a good weight range? When I was losing to much weight for my height, my periods stopped for months.
To strengthen your sex drive, you should start doing more things with your husband outside the bed room. Sex isn’t the only thing that affects the way you feel, and your libido.
Take a hike together, go watch a movie, or go out to eat. When you feel good about your relationship, it will show in the bed room. Let him pleasure you, don’t do all the work hunny. Also, more foreplay then sex will help your libido. Find out what you like, and maybe invest in some toys.
I’m a teenager, so I don’t know everything but you and your husband need to try new things and experiment.
